Since the mid 1980’s directors John Rosel and Chris Sherwood have been intimately involved in delivering projects across Queensland, ranging from retail, commercial, government, mixed use, and large-scale residential apartment developments.
Establishing themselves as Project Management leaders, John, Chris and the team expertly work to manage and understand their projects from a stakeholder’s standpoint, with the ability to improvise, adapt and overcome any issues and efficiently find the best possible solutions and outcomes for all project types.
John Rosel

Director and co-founder John began his journey in 1986 commencing work in the finance industry, firstly with ANZ and then moving to the Queensland Industry Development Corporation, where he was involved in assessing property development and investment funding structures.
In 1995, John was offered a position with a regional real estate and house builder called Honeycombes. Over the next 10 years this group grew to become one of Queensland’s largest property developers, Honeycombes Property Group, with projects from Cairns to Brisbane. John was appointed as General Manager Developments in 2000.
In 2004, an opportunity arose for John to strike out on his own to establish Impero Management Group, specialising in Project Management and Delivery of Outcomes. Since then, John has been involved with the delivery of over $1.5b worth of property development and investment across the state.
In 2014, John joined forces with Chris Sherwood to create Rosel Sherwood. John and Chris had been business associates for some 20 years prior, and saw an opportunity to bring together their years of unique expertise to create a property consultancy that not only provides solutions and outcomes for its clients, but has become a leader in its field.
Chris Sherwood

Director and co-founder Chris began his journey in 1980 commencing work in the finance industry, firstly with the Bank of New South Wales and then moving to the Queensland Industry Development Corporation in 1994, where Chris was responsible for providing debt funding solutions to property investment and development projects across the sphere of residential, commercial and industrial.
In 1996, Chris was offered a position with one of Queensland’s fastest growing commercial and industrial developers, the Lancini Group. Over the next 18 years with the Lancini Group, Chris gained experience in various roles including property management, leasing, sales, design & construct & leaseback, HR, finance, and development management.
In 2006, Chris was appointed General Manager. He held that position until he departed the Lancini Group of Companies in June 2014 to co-found Rosel Sherwood.
As General Manager of one of Queensland’s largest property companies, Chris developed a unique insight into what makes a property company successful. This knowledge and wisdom has also allowed Chris to share his experiences with others and he has become a strong mentor and Business Coach to others.
Jessica Rosel
PROJECT MANAGER, B.Sc, DIP. PROJECT MANAGEMENT, DIP. BUSINESS
Jessica joined Rosel Sherwood as a project manager in 2021 after several years travelling and working in North America and Europe. During this time, Jessica worked in a contracts administration role and was involved in residential and commercial projects across North Queensland.
Understanding that communication is the single most critical aspect of project management, Jessica brings a key focus of risk management to Rosel Sherwood’s clients and their projects.
Jessica holds a Bachelor Degree in Science, a Diploma in Project Management, and a Diploma in Business.
In addition to her project management role, Jessica manages the Brisbane and SEQ operations of Rosel Sherwood.
